A youth advocate in Omuo Ekiti, Olajide Omotayo has highlighted that,for an effective legislation and people’s oriented policies implementation in Ekiti East Constituency 1, a person of Hon Olorunjuwa Adegbuyi is needed to steer the ship of his constituents to safe harbor. He stressed that—one of the cardinal objectives of any legislator is to facilitate developmental projects that are of use for the locals.
Supporting his assertions. He said, a legislator can perform excellently when there is smooth interplay between the executive and legislative arm of government without reasons for one to work against the other.
Gov John Kayode Fayemi—-who according to Olajide Omotayo, was described as a learned personnel who understands the rule of law and the sanctity of the legislature.
He is a person ready to give enabling— environment for people’s oriented policies to flourish. Without doubt, his civility is one the factors that will ease Adegbuyi’s quest to make legislation pleasurable for his constituents.
While explaining further on constituency projects. Olajide decried the state of constituency projects in Ekiti East Constituency 1 as the worst in recent time. He emphasized that Adegbuyi will ensure that the bad narrative is changed.
” We have discussed on how to move Ekiti East Constituency 1 forward. The responses were brilliant and feasible. As a progressive youth, my ultimate concern is to support one with vision and mission of emancipation.
” His response further identified basic needs of the people which are inevitable.
” One of the progressive ways of understanding the needs of the community, is via constant meetings with the elders, youths and leaders of thought. Adegbuyi had drawn plans and have once hinted me on his regular schedule for progressive meeting in the interest of his constituents.”—-He elaborated
